Pairing Issues

If bitbox will not pair to another radio, there are a couple of things to check.

  1. Confirm that the mode select switch is functioning by toggling it from BASE to REM. The direction of the status lights should change between modes. For more information, see Status Lights.
  2. If the status lights change and there is still no pairing, perform a factory reset on the unpaired radio.
  3. If a factory reset of the unpaired radio does not work, factory reset the base radio as well. Note that this will reset all pairings.
  4. If none of these solve the issue, you may have a hardware problem.
